Back to contentsTerms & Conditions
These terms govern the sales made between FlameJet, as the seller, and any buyer (hereinafter "the Customer") placing an order on flamejet.org. Confirming an order means full acceptance of the terms described below.
1. Scope
These terms apply to every order placed through the site, whatever the product concerned. They take precedence over any other terms, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing by the seller.
2. Products offered
The main features of each item appear on its product page. We take care to ensure the photos and descriptions reflect the products faithfully; minor differences in presentation do not, however, affect the validity of the sale or engage our responsibility.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars, plus any shipping fees stated before you confirm your order. The price that applies is the one in effect at the time of the order. Payment is made online through a secure payment provider; card details are handled by our provider and are never stored on our own servers.
4. Order processing and delivery
Orders are prepared within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed, then shipped to the address provided by the Customer. Delivery time is usually between 5 and 20 calendar days. Events beyond our control (force majeure, customs formalities, strikes, carrier delays) may occasionally extend this timeframe.
If a package has not been received within thirty (30) days, we invite the Customer to let us know at support@getflamejet.com so that a suitable solution can be found.
5. Right to cancel and satisfaction guarantee
The Customer has fourteen (14) days to cancel the order without having to give a reason, in line with consumer protection standards.
Beyond this legal right, FlameJet offers a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of receipt. To use it, simply write to support@getflamejet.com before the deadline to get the steps to follow and the return address. The item must be returned complete, in its original packaging and in perfect condition. Except for a defective product, return shipping costs are the Customer's responsibility. The refund is issued within fourteen (14) days of receiving the return, using the original payment method.
6. Legal and commercial warranties
All our products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects. Each FlameJet lighter is further covered by a commercial warranty against manufacturing defects.
This warranty covers neither normal wear and tear nor damage resulting from improper use or inappropriate handling. To make a claim, the Customer sends their order reference, a description of the defect and, if possible, photos to support@getflamejet.com.
7. Customer service and complaints
Our team is available for any question or complaint:
- By email: support@getflamejet.com
Before taking any action with a third party (bank or payment provider), the Customer agrees to first contact our customer service, which will do its best to resolve the matter amicably.
8. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the law applicable at the Customer's place of residence, with the consumer protections offered by applicable national laws remaining fully in effect. In the event of a disagreement, we will first seek an amicable resolution with customer service; failing that, the competent court will be determined according to the rules that protect the consumer.
